I remember in MTW, and maybe even in RTW, you could push a button, spacebar I think it was, to find out where your units are moving and in what formation will they stop.

In M2TW, I notice there's a red triangle that pops up that shows you where your unit is going, but it would be phenomenally helpful to see how the formations will set up.

So, how do you see this in M2TW if at all? I don't know why they would have taken out this useful feature.

I think that's spacebar, as in before. Or you can take a look at the key arrangement pressing F1.

It is space bar (held down). But it doesn't work properly with me. You'll usually see a yellow flickering shape where your units are going to be, but often it won't show at all or will be barely visible. Sometiems it will only show the position of one of your groups. It's not nearly as usefull as it was in medieval 1 (used it all the time)

Yeah, the difference between R:TW and M2TW is that you only have to press SPACE to see where your guys are going (in R:TW). But for M2TW, you have to hold SPACE for many, many seconds before you can see where your army is going. It's kind annoying actually.
