    Default can someone help me?

    i have the newest XGM extended greek mod ver. XGM 5.7.6
    and there is a Unit that is from the AOR (area of recruitment)
    called the indo-hellenic hoplites and and the free greek cities cannot recruit then and i was wondering what files must i edit for me to make them availible!

    there a bactrian unit are they not i didnt know dime made them aor.....

    are they im not sure because bactera can recruit them but theryre in the merecenary and AOR section

    Indo-Hellenic hoplites are only recruitable by the Bactrians currently. Where they are in Export_Descr_Units is not important as to who can recruit them.

    You need to mod export_descr_units to give the Greek Cities ownership of the indo-hellenic hoplites, then you need to add a line in export_descr_buildings so that they can recruit them.
    That is the absolute bare minimum, you may also need to add a Greek Cities texture for the hoplites as well as unit cards and other things.
    You may wish to ask this question in the modding forums as well, as I am not good with units.

    Hospitallers, just a side note: Don't base these things off things seen in custom battle. Dime hasn't bothered to change it around to reflect faction unit/AOR unit in regards to a few facitons (Baktria included, as most of their units were purely AOR in previous versions, when they were Seleucid Rebels). So you can't really tell that Indo-Hellenics are faction specific rather than AOR.

    Also, GCS can recruit Greek Hoplites, which have identical stats to the Indo-Hellenics, minus a couple morale points, so I don't know why you want them for GCS.

    Fair enough Not bashing your idea, as its totally your choice, and it is cool to have some hoplite variety.

    You need to edit several files - export descr unit, export descr buildings, description_models_battle and to paste the unit and unit info card from the britons folders to greeks cities folders.
    All these files are in the XGM directory, not the RTW one.
    Have you done some rtw editing before? If not, it could take couple of reinstalls...
    In EDU folder find the part with the hoplites and after britons add greek cities.
    I have to go now, tonight will tell you more.

    I just saw a mistake in EDB file - for the factions that can recruit the hoplites besides britons you should add grek cities. the easiest way is to copy the faction list from the bactrian cavalry. Remember to have the proper spaces and comas
