Not at all, it loads just as fast as vanilla. That's probably why I dumped EB from the start, and fell in love with RS, lol.

Fast load times. You don't have to get up and take a shower to wait for it to load.

With me it's fast enough, but a bit slower than vanilla. But that's probably just my crappy computer.

Load times should be just as fast as Vanilla, but I'm sure that your computers have gathered a bit of dust and other things on them since your initial Vanilla installations over 3 years ago, so it might run a teeny bit slower.

It's a bit slower than Vanilla, but it has 50 times more content. So it should. But even the RS2 we are planning...(RTW on steroids).....will still load reasonably fast.

Yes, I'd say its a bit slower than vanilla, but I think that's just because of the awesome campaign map.

OK, guys. Enough moaning about EB, which is an awesome mod BTW. Let's keep the focus on RS.

^ I second that notion. Do we have any load time estimations for RS2? Seeing as how it's got freightloads of new goodies packed in there.

loads in about 15 seconds for me, EB was always bad at load times, like a minute, i dont have any patience at all saying that i dont have much time to play as it is so all the time is a blessing

I think I read somewhere that RSII will be just a tiny bit slower in terms of loading times compared to RS 1.6a.

EB isn't too bad with loading for me. About half a min to a min average load time. And I mean when it does load you can see why.

For me EB and RS are on a par purely because they aim for different things. Each has it's own virtues and deficits.. and more virtues than deficits for sure!
