    can somebody tell me how to customize music on stainless steel 6.1?

    Quite simple- get your mp3 file, drop it in your SS6.0 data/sounds/music folder. Then go to descr_sounds_music, add the file name in somewhere where you want it to be played (EG, in battle), and I think then you have to delete the music idx and dats in data/sounds, though I'm not sure.

    Wouldn't do any harm to do it, though, IIRC.

    Yes you would have to delete the .idx and .dat files so the game can rebuild them
