If you're thinking of the legion system Roma Surrectum uses, then this is different. Basically if you recruit some comitatenses somewhere, next to their unit name they have the name of the legion they belong to.

I don't believe so... They don't look different or anything, so I guess there's not much point in a list. Besides, In my experience, you'll end up with alot of mixed up legions as you try to hold back the Barbarian hordes/Sassanids.

Each city has a corresponding legio name. These names are taken from the Notitia Dignitatum.

You can recruit them only in Roman lands, each type of legion in specific AOR, for ex. British legioneres are only from Britania below the wall. If you want play historicly don't build more than four in one army and the rest of infantry shud be Auxilia cohors and /or foederati. Not only names but shields are from Notitia, bravo Ramon

Well in fact you can have six, as each unit represents one ordo and their were six in a late roman field legio. Usually at least one or two of these ordos were light armed troops such as lanciarii and/or sagitarii.

wow, that's a step down from 9 cohorts and a first cohort... no wonder the Romans had a hard time...
