I was just remembering hearing that insurgents nowadays are becoming infamous for shrugging off multiple direct hits from small arms fire in places like Iraq because they have jacked themselves up on adrenaline. Im curious as to why they don't die anyways, cuz from what I know of the subject, which is like nothing, several holes through your torso and you are a dead man. What does the adrenaline do to stop the utter pwnage that is getting shot repeatedly in the chest? Do these guys just ignore it for a few hours and then fall over dead in an instant or what? If it really is keeping these guys alive from normally fatal wounds, why don't our armies use it all the time? I mean, the US Army could probably get it's hands on more adrenaline than some insurgents in Iraq. Are there any downsides to getting jacked on adrenaline, assuming that you don't get ventilated by some coalition forces?
