I Have a problem on how to install SPQR mod 6.4

Ok so i followed the instructions included with the SPQR 6.4 mod, like downloading patches 1.3 and 1.5, but as i went to install patch 1.3 it said ''No prior installation of Rome Total War found''. So I tryed installing patch 1.5 but this message appeared ''Rome Total War-Gold Edition is installed on this machine. Patch is not compatible''.
So then I tryed just installing the SPQR mod by itself, I knew it wouldn't work but it was worth a shot.
RTW stop working over all so I uninstalled RTW, then tryed installing patch 1.3 and 1.5, but it was the same story.

Can someone help me with my problem?

Yeah I can. Seems that not all ppl are PC wizards its simple, gold edition of RTW, which I possess for example, is already patched to 1.5 for RTW and 1.6 for RTW: BI, which simply means that you do not have to install the patches.
All you need to do is - install the game. Copy ENTIRE folder someplace else on your HDD (to have the original running), then use SPQR installation file and point it to the copied location.

Hi I am trying to install spqr mod version 8.0 into rome total war, i watched the prologue intro but didn't play it. Do I need to successfully complete the prologue before installing it? and should i create a desktop copy of rome total war. What confuses me the most is when i tried to install it, it just quit when it was done and it didn't do anything at all. Can someone please help and give me THOROUGH instructions on how to install it step by step. Thank you.

That's not true. Since I started playing 6.4 I never had to register to find a solution for any problem (till today ). It never was hard to find answers for basic questions on here. The new designed FAQ is fine but most people seem to like waiting for a reply to a question answered dozens of times before. People are strange

Hey Everyone, I'm very new to this place, so I have no idea what I'm doing.

I really need help with the SPQR mod. I don't understand what happens but I download it, it extracts and then disappears, and nothings happened. Also, even though this is side topic, Legion III Praetorians doesn't work for me either, it says it couldn't find the ms322.dll or something. Help with either would be great, Thanks

dude, there is no launcher. Mod isnt a stand-alone thing. YOu need to install it into your game folder and run it via normal icon of rtw.

yeah man i know but whats his problem? he dosn' t know its the normal rome total war icon to strat it, ore is it more like an install problem?
