RS Map for Vanilla?
I love the Roma Surrectum map. It's highly detailed, accurate, and simply beautiful. I am; however, a Vanilla player, and while I absolutely love your mod, I would like to be able to play your map on Vanilla.
This is really only for my personal use, but there have been some others who have expressed interest in a Vanilla RS map as well. I wouldn't dream of trying to take credit for all the effort put into this masterpiece.
I've been trying to replace the Vanilla maps with RS maps, but things aren't really working (I'm by no means a modder). I have made all settlements villages, removed all armies and family members; pretty much everything I thought I would need to in order to make the map load. It still doesn't load the campaign though. (CTD when you select a faction at the Imperial Campaign screen)
The show_err command says that it can't find the region name "Sarmatia" in the stringtable. I'm not sure what this means, but I've checked descr_regions_and_settlement_names_lookup and descr_strat, and everything seems to be right.
Any chance you guys could help me? (and if you would like me to stop working on this, I will).
