How do you play this?

I need some help with something that may seem rather stupid to you (or it may not) but I have no idea what to do.

I've installed RTW, then patched it to 1.3, then 1.5 and run the thing from the download post. But when I play the game, everything is the same. Have I completely missed some obvious step or something?

did you install SPQR to the right folder?

you probably placed it in the wrong folder

RTW is installed to default directory, so unless the installer/unpacker thingy does not point to the default, I've installed it to the right place.

You don't have to do the io_filefirst thing like in MTW2 do you?

Activision?? why does it say activision, the Creative Assembly made RTW

EDIT 2:

I fixed it. For some reason, the installer had activision in the file path instead of the creative assembly.

indeed, but you just have to chose the one you have, if you have CA then click CA, if you have activision..... oyu get it right?

I have the mod downloaded and finally I have more than just the readme file, which only contained information useless to the install and execution itself. Nonetheless, I greatly require assistance in making an executable shortcut for this mod. I am clueless. There are NO step-by-step guides that I can make head or tail of on how to make this mod work on windows xp. Please help !
