Endless Game

Hi

Is there away to have a endless game in RTW, I mean like no limits and conquer the whole world. LOL I Just don't want my game to end and it seems like a fun idea..

If there is such a thing out there in a mod or file I can change.. I'm using Normal RTW with just Barbarian Invasion expansion installed not updated at all.. Thx

Everything must be limited dude

if u conquer all the world, your game should be end ... if doesnt, probably you can boring in a short time.

I haven't tested this, but I'm pretty sure it would work.

Play your game out as normal, conquering everything. Then when you get the last faction down to their last few settlements, send a diplomat and gift as many regions as you want. Wait a few turns for them to build armies/spawn family members, then you've got a whole new war.

This would work best with the Roman factions (excluding SPQR, except when you are controlling them). Doing this simulates a civil war. Of course, you don't need to wait till you've conquered just about everything; you can conquer a little bit, then just go and gift the desired regions to any faction you want.

In order to do this, though, you will need to have Force Diplomacy.

The best way to do this, imo, is to go to the descr_strat file, and change the start and end dates of the game. So you could make it start in 5000 BC or earlier and make it end in 5000 AD or later, resulting in a game that would be 20000 turns or longer.

But you would still end the game when you conquer the world map.... Although it does give you a longer campaign if you want to turtle of something at the start.
