There must be a missing file...

There must be some missing text file somewhere because whenever I start a vanilla campaign, random pieces of text are missing all over the place. here is an example of a screen where text is missing. does anyone know which file it is? or how to fix it?

obviously no answers... oh, well. Seeing as reinstalling never worked for this, I've completely removed all mention of MII's existence from my computer and then installed it as if it were the first time and now it works. A new problem has arisen, however. I can no longer use
[io]
file_first = true

These problems arise when you have an unpacked mod folder and a packed main data folder and use [io] file_first = true. You need to put an unpacked version of the vanilla text folder in the packed MTW2 data folder.

You also need to have a UI folder in the packed MTW2 data folder which contains the vanilla files:

strategy.sd
battle.sd
shared.sd

You could make a copy of your packed data folder, unpack the original folder and get these files, then delete the unpacked version and restore your packed version (or just unpack your main folder if you have enough harddrive).
