Often times I find myself relying on my own music library to supply me with auditory stimulation during my battles. Sometimes the TW music doesn't quite set the mood, or just flat out gets annoying. So I play my own music which usually includes...

(okay just ignore the video...focus on the music...)

Does anybody else do this? If so, what do you listen to?

Some of the Lord of the Rings stuff is nice.
"The dark giant lay sprawled on the sands of Tunis. Far to the north the new champion of the arena lifted his arms in triumph. The galleys passed upon the sea, the soldiers laid down their arms, cities were rebuilt and peace was everywhere welcomed. The supine giant was unconscious, but not dead. Slowly he began to raise himself upon his elbows."

Yeah, some of your own music would be nice. I'm just not really sure how to actually add it in

the music from 300 is awesome with M2TW, it fits perfectly with all the cool combat animations, but it just dosen't work with RTW...

I listen to music at whim, I will turn on the radio, or listen to my own music or listen to RTW's own music. Depends on what I want.

I'm the same as Selifator, whatever I feel like. I have a radio/CD player in my "computer room" so I have the choice of my music or RTW's music.

I don't like any music at all (while I'm playing).

But if I'm watching a replay, then Vangelis has a nice repertoire to choose from.

Oh, come on Prince! When you see your Aetolian cavalry begin the charge, you don't want to hear...

i guess I'm the only one then. Shame really. I think Gemina performs better when they have killing music on.

It's alright, I suppose, but I still prefer Vangelis. The problem with heavy metal is that it gives me the impression that my troops are out-of-control. I like to think that I'm in command at all times

I like to think of my troops as rabid killing machines that do my bidding.

I suppose if I'm using a barbarian faction, it might be a good choice

I just open media player and stick it on random..... unless I've just got a new CD, in which case I'll listen to that instead. Most of it's metal (gothic, black or just heavy) it's fun to listen to guitars and drums hammering away while having minions attack the infidels!
