Scrolling Through Units

Okay I have no idea why or how this happened but now, with almost every campaign I play, whenever I use the arrow keys to move on the campaign map it does so but it also scrolls through, at an amazing speed any military units I have selected. The same thing happens on the battle map which is a royal pain in the ass. I also cannot use CTRL+A to selected all of my units. They all selected for a second but once my fingers leave the keys only one of them is selected, strangely it's always the one that in the second slot.

Also on either map when I hit "esc" to exit the scroll unrolls and them immediatly goes away and I have to hold it down until it finally stays. And now, when I do this it rolls through my units as well. Anyone have any suggestions? I have RTR PLatnium 1.9 installed but this was starting to happen when I still had Vanilla.

*lightbulb goes off a few days later*

Wait, wait wait... I think I figured it out. Note to everyone though, watch out for switching back and forth between your desktop and game.

You change any of the files? How about your options, might be something dodgy there.
