Patch Problems, please help...

I've been trying to download and install the patch for kingdoms (1.0.5 or something) but when I go to insrtall, it gives me an error message stating that the "localised.pack" file is missing, so I tried re-installing like it suggested, but to no avail. Upon checking the file path it gives me for the "localised.pack" I find that it is indeed there. Alternativly, I could not find the localised.pack anywhere in the patch files themselves. Does anyone know about this problem or has experinced it themselves, is there a solution, or am I out of luck?

Go here: http://www.totalwarforums.com/, scroll down to Kingdoms update released forum and all info including about the localized pack issue is in there. That says you probably downloaded the wrong patch. Check that first page nad make sure you have the right one.

Actually, I have the same problem. I tried installing the UK Gold patch, the Euro patch and the US patch. None work - all say a problem with localised.pack

Who did you buy your Kingdoms from and what country?

I bought it from GAME in the UK. The UK patch is listed for the Gold edition, so I thought that that meant for the Base game + expansion pack (which I don't have), so I originally tried the Euro patch. But like I said, I've tried all 3.

If you have the UK version of M2TW, you must purchase and install the UK version of Kingdoms, then install the Kingdoms update UK (non-Gold version). Update 1.05 is for Kingdoms only.
