Default Hey what about the beasts of Middle-Earth

I didn't see a thread for this so I am starting one about how creatures may be implemented.

Durin's Bane is the balrog who lived in Moria. Why no fell-beasts?

There won't be a balrog if my memorey serves me correctly. There won't be fellbeasts because they would be inconvenient and hard to make. Nazgûl will ride horses.

Okay then, pity but I understand that both the Fell-Beasts and the Balrog would be very hard to make. Horses will do fine

What other creatures are there that deserve to be in this mod?

Doing a Balrog properly would be even harder then doing a Fellbeast not to mention thata the pixels would probably slow down the most powerful computers

Also, a balrog would be insanely overpowered if included.

I think we already discussed Wargs, Trolls and Mumakil enough(especially Mumakil since we've already have a screen of one)

How should Ents be implented? they never served under Elvish rule or anything. Make Fangorn a rebel settlement?

Code_Knight said they will be siege weapons for the Elves.

that's the worst thing to do to the lore

Ents do not work for anyone, only look after the trees! for Iluvatar's sake!!
Glorfindel, the Lord of the House of the Golden Flower

...Glorfindel was tall and straight, his hair was of shining gold, his face fair and young and fearless and full of joy, his eyes were bright and keen, and his voice like music, on his brow sat wisdom, and in his hand was strength...

... the Elven-wise, lords of the Eldar from beyond the furthest seas. They do not fear the Ringwraiths, for those who have dwelt in the Blessed Realm live at once in both worlds, and against both the Seen and the Unseen they have great power...

In my opinion, the list of creatures included should look something like this:

Trolls (essential for Mordor, and, to a lesser extent, Isengard)
    Wargs (same again)
Mumakil (Haradrim armies without Oliphaunts? Pfft.)
    Fellbreats ()
Crebain (to be used as spies, like in one of the other LotR mods. I forget which one.)

Ents, Balrogs, Dragons, Eagles, Giant Spiders, Huorns and the various other beasties of Middle-earth should not be included, both because they would require complex models which would take a long time to complete, and because they did not play a prominant role in the War of the Ring.

Trolls should be essential especially for the Orcs of the Misty Mountains. Same for Wargs. Both Trolls and Wargs origin from the valleys of the Misty Mountains and the lands near the Anduin, therefore they should be a prominent force in the orc armies from the Mist Mountains. As for Crebain, how would you suggest to implent them into the game?, should Isengard's spies look like Crebain?

Ents are gonna be in the mod so I heared, recruitable as siege equipment for the Elves ()

I agree that Balrogs, Dragons, Eagles, Giant Spiders, Huorns should not be in the game. (though if the developers change their minds about the Fell-Beasts, then the Eagles should be implented as well )

I'm sort of glad there will be no fellbeasts, they looked like crap in the Rome Total War version of this.
