With auto_win attacker/defender, yes AI is weak.
    With add_money also is weak.

I dont know why, but everytime i play, regardless if expanding/citybuilding I allways get in trouble as AI declares war vs me with 3 full stacks and 6 scroll diplomats bribing every army i got.

I can keep up when attack from one side, but not from Makuria in south, Koj in middle and Abbassids from north with Omans trying their luck in Mecca.
Or being betrayed by ERE, Georgia and Armenia, also seeing Abbassids moving their army enar MY Edessa.
Being attacked by Seljuks and Ghaznis, when i get mongols in about 10 turns isnt the most pleasant time.

But as long as I am the one declaring wars, game is very easy. Aside from stacks spawning when besieged AI cannot defend.

I have a great idea for you. Try playing using the Generals Camera only, and only play with it scrolled down all the way to your general charachter. Never pause and give orders, just play through.

I'm playing EB like this, and it is a totally different game - much more of an historical simulation, because, as the general, you can't micromanage. You have to put groups of your men under computer control at various times, becasue you aren't close enough to order them about.

It makes the set up of the battle much more importent, reserves critical. You can no longer win every battle with 1/4 of the enemy casualties. It is a little frustrating at first, but worth it if you're finding things too easy.
    This seems to be quite a racist comment. The Guals did a lot more than "wonder around pillaging";
It's not as if they were a bunch of dirty, stinking, fatherless Huns.

Tell you what you want to do.

Have a kid and a job, and then see how many campaigns you can finish.

I had to give up on my IFB campaign half way through because I wanted to play BC, and I thought playing that for six months on-and-off would be enough.

Wait of BC 2, at least that's what i'm doing.
Currently playing as England in SS 6.1
Reap the promised end to the struggle. Reap every point on our linear path.
Reap the smiles in time we borrow, every harvest relies on the last.
Reap the promising song of the sparrow, that they learned from the birth of sea.
Silenced by the threnody of the crows. Reap the fallen fruit of the dogwood tree.
But I witnessed in all this silence one soul's definition of beauty. and a backlit smile so temporary.
A facade so rich with evil history. Cast in direct opposition set to overwhelm this moment to shine and sleep.
came out on top of what was borrowed, and found all that beauty to be still...

Well try play if not allready with only balanced armies and not stacks of HA and archers. Also only use few of the best units since in real life the factions did not have endless of for example templars knights, mamluks and so on perhaps one or two in every stacks at highest. Also let factions build up their armies before you attack them.

Simply, I suggest you hotseat: playing against HI (Human Intelligence) is what you need.
