way to change a province ownership KTW?

ive tried to change the ownership of some provinces in the brittania campain and it wont work could someone tell me whats the easiest way of doing this please?

I'm pretty sure all you need to do is edit descr_strat and move the settlement from under one persons control to another and delete the army that was in it

wierd it should work, it works for me well I edited the campaign script without any changes but when I deleted the map.rwm it worked for me so go into the base folder and delete that and see if that works

You have to move the region from one faction part (in descr_strat) to the faction that you want to have it. Then move the army that was in that settlement as well.
Restart your game.

Simply moving the already existing army will not always work, since the new owning faction may not necessarily be able to produce the units. You need to find the existing army (the easiest way to do this is to search for the x, y coordinates), remove it and create a new army, using units from the new owning faction and place it on the coordinates for the settlement.

Actually, what Counter said is correct, since an army does not have to be present in the settlement in order for the game to work.

Sorry I was unclear about the army, meant to move it by way of xy co-ordinates.
