    Default accidental excommunication

England was just excommunicated for standing an army on my docks. But they didn't go there by choice, we attacked their army and instead of fighting us, they retreated. In retreat, they just happened to wind up standing on the docks, and down came the excommunication notice. Probably should not happen when unintended like this.

shenryyr - don't know if anything can be done about the problem.

where units go when withdrawing is presumably hardcoded - (not seen any mods that can change it anyway) - it's not something one has any control over (and I've seen plenty of daft withdrawals in all versions of M2:TW and subsequent mods etc.)

the prog regards starting a blockade after a warning to avoid offensive action against a faction as aggressive action (ie it ends the turn doing something it shouldn't.) Pope sees the action and ex-comms.

I think you just have to live with it.
