Then you're SOL. Sounds like you need to buy your own computer.

If your account is very limited you cannot do anything in your pc.

Since it's your dad's computer and he has the admin rights to it, short of doing something that might get you kicked out of the house and banned from it forever, you have two choices, deal with him on it, or get your own. There are no other choices. Sorry.

Since it's your computer, the polite thing to do would be to ask him for the password and/or set your account on it so you can do what you need to do to the game. IIRC it can be folder specific, so he could give you admin rights to your game folders and lock you out of his folders. Does the sound like a workable solution?

ahh well you see i kinda have an irresistable urge to do all sorts of crap which is why the admin rights are on. However he would be willing to help if he knew what to do. (weve tried just about everything we can think of from reinstalling etc to repatching and stuff) So we basically just need to work out whats wrong and needs fixing

Inside the Control Panel is an icon for Administrative being called different things depending on whether it's XP, Vista or other. That is where it all takes place. There is a help file with connections straight to Microsoft's Knowledge Base on the subject. They also have a support forum you and your dad can ask specific questions. I would suggest you two get Microsoft's help to set this up for both of you.
