I wonder the same. Bought the game today, and would really like to know how to move my troops onto my boats.
Boats must be at sea to be boarded.
You need to have as many transport ships (cogs) as you have regiments in the army you want to move. Select the fleet and move them out into the sea, then just select the army and click on the sea area where your ships are at, and your troops will jump onboard.![]()

Ah, so cogs are transport ships! I createrd a huge carrack force to move my armies down to Mali, no wonjder they wouldn't board
Thank you!
That happens a lot.
It's not bother, eventually you'll get a white peace offer as most likely neither of you can find the other
Troops get an attrition penalty if they are in a province with a supply limit which exceeds the number of troops stationed there.
Places like Africa also get another penalty for their inhospitable weather.
To make your armies reinforce faster have more provinces, don't assault castles unless you have overwhelming force and take the National Idea of National Conscripts, it increases your manpower by 50%.
ah ok ill probably stay out of africe im mainly trying to take land in america atm.
is there a place where i can see the supply limit of my province
And the more turns in the game will it the provinces have the more weight thing as that killed me when i was in bavaria i sent 14,000 troops and before they even got to the battle they were down to 7000 then when i moved into a province is was taking 1000 of my army a time.
Thanks for help its really appreciated.
