I need help!

I have Medival 2:Total war and i installed it and evrything went well with the installion

Then after everything

I tried to open it >>>>

The problem is that whenever i open it before loading or anything

a black screen comes and i see only the sand watch pointer and it doesn't open

I tried closing the firewall

and still the same problem any help?

i have 512 ram

Download SPEEDUPMYPC or SYSTEM MECHANIC and clear the computer...512MB is not enough...It is minimal requirements by the manual, but many things that the manual says are lies...

Don't resort to gimmicky programs like "Speedupmypc", they'll just make things worse if anything.

Go to start > run > dxdiag
Look under the display tab for driver date and device name.

Dude...SpeedupmyPC helped at least 5 of my friends...I know what I'm talking about...
I'd say it's some RAM problem...

duda, i think that your problem was different from eolol. This problem can help a pc if the pc has many services and a fragment registry-H.D. Eolol problem is with hardware and MTW.
MTW is very sensitive to drivers problem especially with GPU.
Eolol i want to tell you have a very old GPU for the game with very old drivers. But i want to tell me something. Have you install lately any directx version?
This is a version of ngo optimized drivers for xp. I checked with a 5900 GPU and works fine.

search for NGO NVIDIA Optimized Drivers then for the version NGO NVIDIA Optimized Driver 2.9792.
But if you have install any version of directx from August07 until version April08, these drivers are not for you.

In this case your problem looks very serious. You are sure that you uninstall and then install your GPU drivers correctly?

eolol, i really want to help you but if all these solutions does not work my mind goes to really scary places. Like a registry problem or a windows problem. This is very bad, because in that case you need to format your pc. Tell me have you notice any other problem in your pc or any others games with problem ?
