    Keifer's no upkeep cost mod
    to install this mod just copy the file to Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\Data
    this will remove all army upkeep cost. This will make enemy armys bigger but you will have more money.

    Ive installed this mod with a few others and when i start the game it gets to the first loading screen and goes back to the desktop, any ideas?

    This mod is an altered edu file with the units avaible ingame declared. As you say you're playing this mod along some other's I'd guess the game's CTD means somewhere it's called to spawn units edu doesn't have.

    Please go ahead and post what is said when you start the game with the command line parameter "-show_err".

    Is this meant to be used with the vanilla version of Rome?
    Have a map and want a brief overview over it's list of regions, the coordinates of ports and towns?
    Tired of working out R:TW compatible coordinates for descr_strat by hand? MapAnalysator might help.

    What ive actually done is edited myown export_descr_unit.txt and changed the recruitment and upkeep costs so that it works with my current mods. it's pretty easy if you look at the instructions at the top if you will.

    all you need to do is change the 2nd and 3rd number on the particular unit for the stat_cost line from

    This makes the particular unit cost 1 Denarii to build and cost 1 denarii for upkeep in each turn.
