Default Presidential General Election Thread, current

    Previous thread ended here.

The last thread ended with a rush of flames and trolls. I'm starting this new thead for discussion of the election, but there shall be civilised debate here. Yea, else the skies shall open up, and the heavy hand of the moderators shall make itself known, and thou shalt know fear and horror!

    I declare this thread open.

Edit: Some links that may be useful:

It covers a wide range of stances and uses quotes said from them. it provides the quotes, the year they said it and provides their opinions on up to 24 issues.

It is also available for third party candidates and other Republicans and Democrats. It also provides you with a backgroun on the selected issue i.e. War in Iraq.

I believe it could be a good, imformative link for the Mudpit and help influence members to support a candidate by simply looking at their stances on a variety of topics

Here's a BIG question for all of you. Ready?

Why do you hate Hillary Clinton?

Please start discussing. I got this question from all the hatred of Sen. Clinton in this forum.

You know her problems isn't coming from too far...actually lot's of people sorta didn't mind her a few years ago and as I said before, she would be still liked more if she wouldn't have opened her mouth, just waved around and let the talk to somewhat else, but not to Billy boy Clinton.

Because she is unsuitable to become president. She cried when she came third in the Iowa Caucus. She uses tears to appeal to emotions and acts as if she is one little girl in a world of big bad boys. How the hell are other nations going to respect a woman who cries as a leader?

We can't talk about his father.

We can't talk about his grandmother unless he does, brings her up as a "typical white person."

This started out we can't call him a liberal.

It started out we just couldn't talk about his ears.

Now we can't say anything about him.
you pull your crap out of the same place this guy pulled this out of

Same for me. The media will now chose John McCain to be ripped off, if he hasn't been already.

Well, not "scare" per se, but that is the terminology they utilize when referring to an Obama administration.

He won't do all the things he promises, I can assure you. He believes in "pay as you go" spending, even if that seems impossible.

No nation borrowed money into prosperity either, nor did any nation sit on its ass about problems and just hope they will be solved.
Are you talking about borrowing in the face of investment or debt? I mean could you possibly imagine a company taking on a loan to expand their production process? I mean it is possible to borrow your self into exponential growth right?
Sure I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is Im not. I honestly feel that America is the best country and all other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.
