BI executable

ive been thinking of downloading some mods, but most of the interesting ones need to be loaded to the BI game, sometimes v1.6.

could i download these mods, and just use the BI exec instead of the old rome exec? and again could i download the pathes to 1.6 just to a normal RTW file with a BI exec?

The 1.6 update installer will put the files where they belong with no intervention from you. Any mod that I played either RTW or BI have had the startup line already in their desktop icon. For the most part, unless you install someplace besides their "default" location, they are pretty idiot proof.

ty for the quick reply, you see, im just trying to install a mod similar to N2TW , i usaed to have the cd's of BI but thanks to my little sister, those werent useful anymore, then again, thanks to her the only useful files ive got of BI is the executable, thats y i was wondering if i could use the exact same files as vanilla RTW, but switch the normal exec. for the BI one.

No and since the game wants the disc in the drive you are stuck buying a new one. Sorry.
