CTD with Roma

I'm running V 1.1 with the units, sprites, and character trait patches. The only thing besides that is the Phalanx mod.

The problem is I CTD whenever the AI initiates a battle. It will CTD either just prior to going to the battle loading screen, during the loading screen, or at the transition from loading screen to battle.

It does this with and without the EB script activated, and it only does this when the AI initiates a battle. It has happened to me when the Lusitana attack, the Aedui, and the Sweboz. It does not happen if I am the attacker, and it does not happen if I hit "auto resolve."

Sounds like some kind of unit integration error. You have minimods installed? Are there any units in the battles that would be effected by those minimods?

The only minimod I have is the phalanx mod (the short_pike attribute to hoplitai). The CTDs have gotten so bad I've just switched to try other campaigns now as my Roma campaign would have at least 2 AI initiated battles per turn.

Unfortunately it just did a CTD and I was the attacker this time. That's the first time that's happened, but I was attacking a city with no rams or anything as my spy had opened the doors. Not sure if that's related or if thats a different (and maybe a one time deal) type of thing.

Did the battles work for a while after installing the minimod, or immediately after?

Every battle crashes, not just a couple?

I don't think it's phalanx mod related as i have had it installed for a long long time with the phalanx mod. basically all it does is add the short_pike attribute to hoplite units.

Yes, every AI initiated battle the CTD happens on now.

I've started a Getai campaign and have not had the problem happen to me yet and I'm pretty well along. If I switch back to Roma it happens as soon as I end my turn though. I'm in the Polybian reforms on Roma and I'm wondering if there's something to that as that's the first time I've played Roma and thats the first time I've had this CTD issue.
