Hey i finally got a new comp and i got m2tw, patched it and used the unpacker, but wen i edtied d export descr buildings file d changes arent coming into effect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! plz help me

you might be missing the ---io.files_first switch (please check for spelling and how to implement.)

can u plz explain, cause i am a blitz kinda player so dnt hav patience to wait 5-6 turns for 1 building, lemme put it dis way, in rtw i made alexander the great luk tame

all you need to do is open medieval2.prefrences.cfg and add the lines

[io]
file_first = true

and save and it should work

Add this to you shortcut --io.file_first so it look like this "C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\medieval2.exe" --io.file_first then you have all the changes you made.

that works too you can also create a batch file with the --io.file_first line in it
