Default Cities fully built and developed

Won't it be a better idea to play a version of TATW where everything has been built?

It will be more realistic as well...given the time span of the war of the rings...not too much time to totally redevelop the entire civilization, but enough time to rebuild a army.

    Agreed, I want to build!
What they could make (for future releases), is a "War of the Ring"-campaign, spanning over one year, with everything pre-built but the armies.

Hmm, maybe if somebody makes a mini-mod which is only about WotR. They have already 2 mini-mods for LOTR:TW and one is still in progress.

It will be weird if you have to build Minas Tirith from scratch...

Ofcourse you don't have to build from scratch cities like Pelargir, Dol Amroth or Minas Tirith. They are developed cities/castles but I don't like about idea that I don't have to build in some cities/castles.

This is an interesting idea. It presents alot of advantages and disadvantages. The advantages would probably be, the player wouldn't spend time or money on buildings so they'd be building armies and navies. It would keep some settlements closer to the lore. Places like Helm's Deep wouldn't turn into massive centers of trade. The disadvantages would be, problems with recruitment like elves being trained in in orc spawning pits. Some cities would be impossible to control. Their population would get too big and start rebeling constantly.

The disadvantages could probably be modded so in a way I'd be in favour of this idea but instead I'd like to see something that no one said. Something in the middle of the two. Like only certain types of buildings can be upgraded or built. How about only military buildings can be built/upgarded? I'd also like to see buildings that were important in cities be in the mod. Like having the Prancing Pony in Bree, I wouldn't want to upgrade that. Or Farmer Maggot's Mushroom Farm in Hobbiton, I don't want to upgrade that to "Crop Rotation"

Ok, I agree it should be a castle. I don't think anyone would say it should be a city. Still though, thats the most random post I've ever seen
