Nuclear War between Germany and America

It's June 1937, and I'm playing as Germany. The Axis has conquered Russia, India, all of Europe, the entire eastern half of Africa, and large parts of central Asia. Japan is stuck in a stalemate, occupying all of China's coasts but not able to finish them off. They're also at a stalemate with America. They have about half of the pacific islands in between the two continents.

I've managed to completely destroy COMINTERN, and I'm sending about 150 divisions through North China to help the Japanese finish them off. Instead of occupying most of the territory I conquered, I made it into puppet states. The important puppet states are England (130 I.C), Russia (120 I.C.), India(60), and the Ukraine (70). My I.C. is about 380 total. The Americans are at about 400. They have enough tech to research nuclear waste bomb, but it hasn't been unlocked yet. I have 5 fission bombs, but I haven't used them yet because I don't have anything capable of reaching America.

The American army, after a series of disasters in East Asia, is down to about 40 divisions, all of which are on their continent. How ever, they do have about 30 carriers, and they're still building more.

What should I do here? I want to nuke American's east coast, but I'm not sure how to do it. Should I just wait until I can get intercontinental strategic forces in 1950?

Is that a typo or did you really mean 1937? Because if you did... WTF!?

Anyway, I'm completely clueless about what to do here. America is probably going to start nuking me in a few months, and I have no way of actually hitting them back until about 2-3 years from now.

You have nothing to fear.

The AI is intentionally programmed to NOT build nuclear reactors and rocket sites. ALL secret techs (and most of the preceeding required industrial techs) are in the IGNORE list for every country in the game except Germany and the USA.

Germany will research rocket techs, however will not build the sites. The same is true for the USA and nuclear weapons. The techs may get researched, but they are BLOCKED in the ai files from researching advanced nuclear techs and building the facilities

You're going to have to walk me through the navy aspect of this. Every time I even send a fleet down the French coast it gets sunk after crossing a few provinces. I can't even move troops from France to England half the time. The American's haven't really built anything except fleets for a couple years, and it's starting to show. The only ocean I'm safe in is the Mediterranean, and that's only because I own all of the passages to it and the allies can't get in.

The only possible way I can think of to do this would be to take control of Japan's military, re base all of their ships to France, and then try to take the American east coast by surprise. Would that work?

Na, I rather build a lot of naval bombers; they are effective and easy to defend coastline.

In a Soviet game I nuke America 5 times, all on the East Coast, using an Island I took off Portugal, they refused to Surrender.

Time to build yourself a fleet of cruzerigs.

The best way to win here is to stick as much of your navy as possible in Vladivostok (or any other far eastern Russian area) and then rush Alaska. Once you have Alaska, march your army through Canada. Take as much of Canada as possible (Don't bother with Vancouver Island though, it will likely be swarmed with ships), and then crush the USA from the north.

If the Americans move their navy to stop you, it may pay off to send reinforcements via the sea (assuming the Americans aren't going to sink your navy).

And if you want to mess around once America is finished, liberate ALL the nations possible, then un puppet them, and wait 2 years or more. Then you can launch world conquest all over again

You have to load them on to either missiles or strategic bomber

i'd like to know how to launch nuclear bombs as well as rockets. i know i have a couple of rockets, but i dunno how to use them. and how come i can only have rockets deployed at one province (cherbourg)? how do you build additional rocket facilities anyway?

You can put any kind of nuclear bomb on a strategic bomber. You can only put miniaturized and hydrogen bombs on a rocket.
