No, it just gets warmer while the weather stayes the same.![]()
What kind of question is that?

In contrast to the efforts of tiny Israel to make contributions to the world so as to better mankind, one has to ask what have those who have strived to eliminate Israel from the face of the earth done other than to create hate and bloodshed.
Actually, if the earth's atmosphere is warming then the rate of storm occurences should be increasing and it seems this is happening. You know, Mega thunderstorms, mega wedge tornados 1 to almost 2-miles wide, hurricanes, storms period.
Weather is affected by and caused by HEAT and energy contained in the atmosphere and also HEAT LOSS. Upward rising thermals and then rapidly downward spiraling cooler air cause tornados.

Global warming has obviously affected the weather to some extent. You certainly can't blame individual weather events on it, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if it affected the number and/or severity of storms. I don't personally put much faith in climatologists' models of how it will do so, though (see other threads on this): for all I know it will decrease the severity of some things.
yes it will affect the weather, for one obvious example warmer seas lead to more moisture in the air leading to storms. whether it will be more or worse or both (or neither). As its been said though one can't point to a single weather event and say "global warming did that" as it probably would have happened anyway.

The temperature has risen 0.7 degrees C. If that little of a change can effect the weather, then yes it is.
The incidence of mega thundertorms and tornados and hurricanes is on the rise, and the earth has warmed since the end of WWII, and it seems to be cyclic in nature as the earth has gone through many warm and cold periods throughout its history. I'm not speaking of the causes for global warming althoough I believe increased solar flar activity is the main culprit, I'm simply saying that increased warmth = increased storm activity. Warmth induces airflow and currents and chemical reactions, and with more ionization occurring in the atmosphere then yet more heat energy is released into the atmosphere, a snowball effect. There are more reasons that just more moisture being in the atmosphere, as there are extremely foggy days, both ground fog and clouds themselves settling on the earth's surface where storms do not occur, and there are also dry and violent windstorms/sandstorms in desert regions.
I blame global warming on the Sun and its Solar Flare activity in the main and use the Geologic record that documents many warm and cool periods in earth's history as a basis.

If nothing else, global warming does cause weather to tend more towards the extremes (stronger storms, warmer summers, etc...). Even temperature changes of three degrees will cause a drastic increase in the number of category five hurricanes, among other affects.
In addition to impressive hollywood movie weather that smashes things, some of the convective currents of the oceans are driven by the existing temp changes between the sea and the ice caps.
Scientists are just starting to grope towards an understanding of ocean eco systems and their reliance on these currents to nourish the oceans with oxygen. What we know will happen if we continue as we're going, is not as scary as the stuff that we will find out about when they happen. Which we will then be forced to investigate and learn about.
However, there has to be a financial threat or reward to do so. Until that time comes, some governments will continue to trivialise global warming. Awesome![]()
