Not sure if it was funny or ridiculous. Playing as Rome I have almost destroyed Macedon (about 227BC). Suddenly Seleucids declare war with 2 half stacks - they use the land bridge from Asia Minor, one besieges Maronia, the other sits nearby on the coast. So I attacked with a 3/4 stack I had encamped between Byzantion and Maronia just in case of such an attack - I deployed my units, and hit 'Start Battle'.
The first thing I see is a cutscene of the captain falling from his chariot and drowning in the sea. I zoom in to the reinforcing Seleucid force, mainly chariots and heavily armoured hyspaspitai (sp?) and watch them drown.Their corpses float sadly in the blue.
Anyway I smashed their main army and it fled........into the sea. More chariots and heavy infantry drowned.
All I can really say is, Seleucids, if that was indicative of your efforts in the long war to come, you'd better start running from the power of Rome - NOW!
