Sacha Baron Cohen sparks outrage in Kansas filming his latest movie, "Bruno," a mockumentary about a gay Austrian TV presenter

British funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen has sparked outrage in Kansas by stripping down to a pair of hotpants and terrorizing locals.
The actor is currently filming his latest movie, "Bruno," a mockumentary about a gay Austrian TV presenter, and gathering footage of his interaction with locals.

But the oddball character's outrageous dress sense has not gone down too well with some Kansans and local newspapers have reported that a "European man" was "putting security on red alert" by "stripping down to tight shorts and dancing in the lobby of Wichita Airport."

And the high jinx didn't ended there -- Cohen and his crew are reported to have disrupted an Easter play at a Kansas church by turning up in "chains."
Once again Americans are rightfully humiliated.

    A little late, I admit.

Time for a smoke. I'll be up all night (again, final papers due in a week), AIM: jronnec@gmail.com (email too, lol).

well, even in his first mockumentary (borat), people were also outraged then, so i don't see why people won't be any different in reaction to a second one.

don't get me wrong, though. i absolutely love his movies. ali g, borat, damn they all really crack me up. it's been a while, though. i guess it's time to find them movies again...

The movies are generally just rehashes of the good stuff from Da Ali G show, except they appeal to the mass market of teenage retards because of the heavy marketing, so you end up with all these kids going round imitating Borat, and it becomes a cliche, and that makes me sad.

Having said that, Bruno is an amusing character (on par with Ali G). I love the one where he goes to the concert with all the skinheads and interviews them.

Yeah, Ali G was much better before Borat came out. Back then, no one knew about it. It was funnier. Now, with Borat having come and gone, and Bruno on the horizon, the show is cancelled, everyone is acting like Borat, and they don't even know about Ali G or Bruno, and they think they're being funny.
I thought about writing something clever, but then I remembered I'm not clever enough.

Personally I don't know a single human being that doesn't know Ali G.

    Aside of the older generations.

"Put on red alert" by gayness.
