Has anyone managed to bribe Bohemund as the KOJ?
I like the cut of his jib, and really don't want to massacre him and his men![]()

Can't say I have. I would, but the early game financial situation for Jerusalem is a little....tight.
Well, that and whenever I border the Armenians they seem to attack me immediately.
It's like they want me to burn their cities to the ground, you know?
Victory is gained not by the number killed but by the number frightened.
I think killing 90% of his army and letting him retreat will greatly reduce de bribe's amount... So you might try protecting the city from other ambitious powers, kill his army, get a whole lotta dough and bribe the sucker... Sounds like trouble!![]()
yep, he could never give away Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch so easily...
Why is there no faction "crusader states" or something in stead of KoJ, they ware all allied...
I'd say it's old fashioned English.
Now we just have to wait for some smart alec to point out that "actually it's a mis translation of a French term for one who 'sleeps with his chickens' which was a medieval insult". I just made that up but you know what I mean.
From Brewer's Dictionary of Phrase & Fable:
"Cut of someone's jib": A person's appearance, attitude, or manner. 'I don't like the cut of his jib' means 'I don't like the look of him'. The phrase is of nautical origin. 'Jib' here is the triangular foresail. Sailors used to recognize a vessel at sea by the cut of her jib.
Well, my work here is done...
AWAAAAY!
This obelisk is made of your hardest stone...
Kick it.
Actually it's a mis translation of a French term for one who 'sleeps with his chickens' which was a medieval insult.
Cheers,
Alec (I'm smart)

Antiochos VII...last true scion of the Seleucid dynasty...rest in peace, son of Hellas.
I've returned--please forgive my long absence.
+ Rep to St. Naffatun for the reason Mr. Cursed stated.
Always nice to see a rather unusual or fresh turn of phrase, even if it is such by merely the virtue of being outdated.
Victory is gained not by the number killed but by the number frightened.
....Alright then!
