hii every one, i hava a problem in medievil II and kingdoms. i cant play battles and when i try to play it quit out and says that there is an error and will exit

also there are files missing called data1.cab and data2.cab . although i cant play battles but the map campin is working

plz can u help me??

Uninstall and reinstall the game. I hope that you do not use any no cd patch.

yes i have tried install updates 1.2 and 1.3 installed. can any body plz give me data1 and data2 or solve my problem , thanxx guys

Try to install it in a folder with a name like this C:\Program Files\SEGA\.Medieval II Total War instead of the normal C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War

What's your computer specs? Could have your battle settings too high and going out from heat, memory, etc.

In this case the game shall freeze in the battle. Something else happens.
Data1 and 2 are very large to post and this is forbidden. Maybe something with the installation folder and packs?

The only solution to your problem in missing those files is carefully and totally uninstall and reinstall the game. If you do it right and let the installers put the files and folders in threir default location, I believe you will end a lot of your frustration. If you are are using a crack or emulation software it will cause these errors also.

wow! i have the same problem! i reinstalled game, drivers, but it still doesnt work!! do you have vista too?

yes man i have vista ultimate and made the same thing. the size of data1 is 392 KB and data2 is 512 bytes

Vista and MTW is a bad combination. Many problems. You don't tell this to us.
