1.2 install help! plz
Hey all,
I,m trying to install Kingdoms and it prompted me for the 1.2 patch install. I started it and realised it would take a while so I left it on overnight. It was on data_1 pack for 9 hours!!!!!. Then this morning it turned to data_2 pack, why is it taking so long? I have VERY fast Broadband etc. Is it because its off the CD is it betteer to download off the internet? Why is it taking so long and is it quicker to download and install??

Anyway It is sad that a problem which have RTW continues to MTW as well.
MTW has sometimes problem to install the 1.2 or kingdoms.
Uninstall the game.Then install the MTW and try to apply the 1.2 patch alone from Kingdoms DVD. Only the 1.2 patch. If the installation goes smoothly then try to install the kingdoms. If the problem still occurs you must clean the registry with a program like EasyCleaner or similar. In the worst case you must clean the registry manual.
All the shame goes to Sega for this. Shame.

I,m trying again now, I uninstalled and every file has been wiped that was left behind and its a clean installation now. I also use XP. Before I had the extra files left behind :O. I never realised that these files were left behind, now I do and its a clean installation.

Problem solved!! Woo-hoo, my external drives data transfer wasn't fast enough.
