This is my first AAR so bare with me.PLEASE COMMENT.
This is my Campaign, I belive it is somewhere around 490 Auc. It has been a rought start. Illyricum is the only province I have been able to Conquer. After the First Punic war circa 479 Auc, I left the island with an alliance with the Syracusans, after I gifted them Agrigentum.
It was a long and tiresome siege but eventually the Carthaginians where annahilated. after that one seige they begged for A Cease fire, and were quite dormant until I shipped my one Army out of Syracuse.
I moved on to finish off Epyrus as I saw he was Moving two Large armys towards Croton. the war lasted 2 decades as I had been fighting him since the beginning of the campaign and only about 2 years ago were we able to secure Tarentum.
As you can see the Free people seem to want to get hostile. It was my mistake for leaving Bononia alone and securing the south. They have four full stacks and one half stack just ouside patavium, while a few more are coming through the Alps.
I have not expanded very far, and i have just started the second punic war, when I recieved word that my Allies to the south were down to 2 cities.
Update of campaign coming soon.
The Second punic war was an arduous one. after taken Panormus and lilybaum from the carthaginians, i began the siege of catana.
That was a mistake. The carthaginians sent full army half stacks and some of their best generals against me, while they seiged Lulybaum. i could not relieve my Legion at catana because the carthiginians had a fleet with reinforcements with it and I could not afford to lose the city since it was keeping the carthaginians from enveloping me.
The war seemed to be taking a turn for the worse, so much so that even my allies turned on me and allied themselves with the Carthaginians. And to think that i was brought into these wars to help the Syracusans survive.
I fought a few full stacks when I landed in africa, I immediately seiged Carthage and kept Vibius Augustus patroling and keeping relief parties away from carthage. I took it after starving them and they met me in the field amazingly we defeated them even though they had the superiority in numbers. Then we moved south and took the City south from Carthage.
It is the Year 507 AUC and the third Punic war is far from over.
Update of campaign coming soon.
