Is a great ideea !!! In real time cavalary can't atack the spearmen in full mass frontal atack that makes maxstill a true realistic comander !!! Cavalary were used to atack the infantry without spear in specialy the archers !!!

I hope you all realise that by lengthing the spear of a model, it changes gameplay in no way whatsoever and is purely an aesthetic improvement. I can attest to this, having done it myself. It does not allow, for example, Armoured Sergeants to engage at a greater distance; they will fight at the same distance they always do.

Changing the distance at which they can attack an enemy (eg. jab at them) involves changing the animation or skeleton, I'm not sure which. But it is definitely not about simply lengthing the spears.
