CTD when starting campaign

every time i try start an early era campaign, i get a CTD after the first loading screen

i can play custom battles and such, but not campaigns

i play SS 6.1 with the revised novgorod roster v 1.0 and permanent stone forts by zuma i think

i would like to post the system log but i don't know which entries pertain to my error

Generally the last 5 lines are the ones wanted, if they are of any use.

The think to do is install the mod, check it works, the novgorod, check it works, then forst, as suspect issue is with descr_stat file.

Check terrain_heights and make sure it is has 510 x 288 as map dimensions

i got the fix pack, but i still get a CTD
what part of descr_strat should i be checking?

EDIT: Ah screw it, ill just reinstall and see which things are hurting my game
