Kingdoms installation problems

Ok, i have done the following:

I reinstalled M2TW, since I installed a mod over it. so i had a clean, vanilla M2TW installed.

Then i bought :Kingdom's, which installed perfectly, patched it to 1.2, then 1.3 (by the Kingdom's installer)

When :Kingdoms starts installing the different campains, the first one (Amerika) is installed without problems, but when it gets to the second (brittania) it gives an error, saying the installation was aborted because of a problem with an I/O device? I dont really know what it means by it, but the piont is it won't install that particular campaign.

Any help is welcome

It means it is not reading that part of the disc. Even though it's new to you check it out real good for scratches, etc. Might even explore it in My Computer to see if those files even exist.

After a close inspection of the disk there was this blurry piece at an edge, and a little scratch near the middle...which it rather lousy on a brand new Cd. However, i cleaned it up, and will try the installation again. thanks for the suggestion, really appreciated
