I love this. Its about time. Oh the irony here.

Exxon facing shareholder revolt over approach to climate change

A shareholder revolt at ExxonMobil led by the billionaire Rockefeller family has won the support of four significant British institutional investors who will call on Monday for a shakeup in the governance of the world's biggest oil company.
The same Rockefellers who are for a one world government and made their billions off the little people

Now you say whats good about this. Well they have been soundly rejected. The little people who are the share holders told rocky to shove off. Its the duty of a corp to get maximum return for its shareholders not make the earth greenier. It seems about a third of a million of these share holder are members of the fraternal order of police and they like the high dividend checks.

You cannot poop in your own home except for the toilet or a sink and not expect it to stink and become unhealthy. Over-pollution is the same.

Who says its over pollution? We don't make that much of a difference...

They're not the best investment these days from a long term standpoint going back. I think they are in good shape going forward. They're in the housing market. I do think their prospects going forward are very solid."

What the hell are you talking about? Every business takes money, if they didn't receive money for their product, then there would be no oil companies. Secondly, Exxon is a pricer taker, not a setter. They base their long term investment decisions on what independant speculators will decide the price of oil is. Thirdly, Exxon is one of America's greatest companies. Brining together the best of the business to help provide earth with its energy demand. Fourthly, Exxon pays huge amounts of corporate income tax to the Treasury, and has to pay royalties to the foreign countries it operates in.

Unlike the Department of Energy, which produces NO OIL, Exxon is actually a company who enriches mankind and our global economy.

Uh Erik this is about Exxons choice to not commit to alternative fuel sources not about prices.

Also do not those who own more deserve a bigger voice?

tHATS ABOUT PRICES. If they invest in what you want the price of oil will go up and the stock holders will get less money.

Also do not those who own more deserve a bigger voice?
    How dont they?

“The only rule that ever made sense to me I learned from a history, not an economics, professor at Wharton. "Fear," he used to say, "fear is the most valuable commodity in the universe." That blew me away. "Turn on the TV," he'd say. "What are you seeing? People selling their products? No. People selling the fear of you having to live without their products." freakin' A, was he right. Fear of aging, fear of loneliness, fear of poverty, fear of failure. Fear is the most basic emotion we have. Fear is primal. Fear sells.” WWZ

    Who owns Exxon? We do.

Its also in the article I posted to start this. Just about everyone who owns a 401k has or pension plan is invested in oil companies. Anyone who gets a dividend check will be hurt by this.
