Re: Strategy Guide for Europa Universalis 3
I think you are better off looking for strategies and stuff on the net for EU III. I've got the strategy guide and it reads more like an extension of the manual. Not much insight in there.
Outside of that, why don't you try Ebay? The strategy guide I have came with the collectors edition.

Re: Strategy Guide for Europa Universalis 3
EU3 wiki has worked a bit for me, and also the paradox forums. I still don't play the game good enough to survive in normal difficulty with a small nation. :S

Re: Strategy Guide for Europa Universalis 3
I have to say that I (most likely like most people who played EU) was overwhelmed my first few times playing it. Keep playing, and eventually you won't need strategy guides as you figure more and more about how to play. EU is so realistic in some ways, you can just do what you would do irl.

Re: Strategy Guide for Europa Universalis 3
I didn't even look up the manual, only when I wondered why I couldn't annex Bohemia and how the HRE worked.
The basics are ridculously easy, the rest will either be understood or not, depends on how careful you play and try to learn.
