Do you think the world nations should do more to prevent Global Warming? If so, why, and what should they do?
    Sigh...

For example the regulation of toxic materials that increase global warming, or making them illegal to use.

First i'd like conclusive proof that humans are the cause of global warming and that anything we can do will stop it.

The jury is still out so i'm happy as it is at the moment.

Proof that people are afecting global warming? How about a corilation between a rise in temperature along with the rise of Industiralized Man? How about the fact that sence the rise of the Industrilized world natural cycles based on climat have dramaticaly changed, on time scalces that don't acount for natural phenominon? How about the fact that when you pump CO2 gas into a sealed room with sun exposier it gets much warmer than a simular room filled with normal air exposed to the same level of sun light? Is that proof enuf that people are at least involved in global warming? It is enuf for me to say that we are involved and I am a bit of a skeptic on lots of things. It is also enuf for the vast majority of the scinetific community to say that people have a hand in the whole global warming mechanic, and they are experts so they should know.

Once it is established that we are participating in the proces it stands to reason that if we stop participating the rate of change will slow down, unless there is some factor of "criticle mass" that is at play.

Just like it’s nice to still live in the 60s. Peace, love and all that jazz man. I guess because some green, bug loving, tree hugging, sky is falling person says it’s true it must be. So there you have it, global warming with record lows recorded this year. Oh by the way, did you guys buy it back in the 70s when the same people predicted a coming ice age?

So you would ignor all the evidance beacouse you don't like the outcome? And I am the one that is stuck in the past? Intresting. I wish I lived in a world where it made perfect sence to say "well they are wrong, and to prove I am wrong just look at how much I disagree with them."

They should finally stop arguing WHETHER something needs to be done, and if so, how much and how much time we have left before we maybe could possibly start, and just do SOMETHING. I'm not keen on finding out the hard way whether global warming really is our fault.

Why should we continue as business as usual? There are 1,000,000 things people can do to prevent global warming such as solar panels.

I don't understand why people are so unwilling to invest, its a huge market, it can provide a huge amount of Jobs and stimuli to the economy, wasn't it enough sunlight hits earth every day to power the entire world for a y.ear? That and we get to see those bastard oil companies get there just desserts

The jury isn't out its in, I mean I think the debate is over, it has been proven time and time again that CO2 rising correlates with rising temperatures. Regardless if you have delusions that its some sort of forwarding of political agenda (for what reason would anyone do that). Any credible biologist, ecologist, meteorologist, even science teacher would tell you the same.

Do you know what i find strange about this? The Co2 and temperature connections arent the way Gore describes it..

I want proof before anything should be done!

I think large inland cities should switch to environment-friendly cars because the smog smells funny.

    Bûllshit

Climate has always changed without man-made involvements. Its not about preventing it, but to adapting to the changing climate.
Global warming thing is just todays pop-phenomenom with "stop global warming" rock-concerts and other crap.
The climax of this idiocy is the "Eco-power" that people can buy instead of normal electricity. Produced completely with wind-power (because Nuclear is not good for these people for some reason) and is much more expensive than electricity.

Im just so full with this.

So 90% of the scientific community is wrong? They did all that studying and fact checking and pier reviewing and all of them are wrong? So you know better then the top minds in the field of climat studies? Impresive. Though you must know that hardly any one with any credibility is saying that humans are THE cause of global warming any more, most people have come to terms with the fact that we are a factor that is driving global warming. I will consied that the cimate has changed in the past, several times in fact, but never this fast. When things change this fast in a natural system that is useualy mesured in terms of geological time there is some thing new hapening. Take in to acount that this new rate of change took efect when people started burning large ammounts of fosil fules and you have to be blind to not make the connection.
