    Default Barack and WW2

"I had a uncle who was ... part of the first American troops to go into Auschwitz and liberate the concentration camps," Obama said.

The Republican National Committee quickly pointed out that the Red Army had liberated Auschwitz in 1945, not American forces.
I know that Obama has now "corrected" himself on this matter, but come on. Everyone says Bush is dumb (which he isn't; otherwise, why does he have MBA from Harvard?), but no one gets on Obama for this. How can you even make this kind of mistake? The sad thing is, everyone probably believed him since few people know America's history knowadays. And the media never gets on Obama for making "mistakes", simply because he is Obama. Now don't shoot off at me; this is my opinion. Your thoughts on this sad "mistake".

I wonder if a sniper shot at Barak during his visit to Kenya...

Uhumm... Though this is really a non-issue as we're not voting for Barak's uncle.

Probably the same one hillary was reffering to

She was going to hire him to shoot Obama.

I guess its an attempt at the Jewish electorate, who have been less fond of Obama.
The common culture of a tribe is a sign of its inner cohesion. But tribes are vanishing from the modern world, as are all forms of traditional society. Customs, practices, festivals, rituals and beliefs have acquired a flut and half-hearted quality which reflects our nomadic and rootless existence, predicated as we are on the global air-waves.

The first one was my Republican side, the second half was my logical side. I'm not going to vote for Obama based on some issues that matter most to me, but this issue wouldn't change how I voted.

Posted link. Sorry Farnan, I didn't ever use links until now.

I'm not saying this is a major issue, but it is truly sad vwhen he can almost get away with this. How can you mistake something like that? I actually somewhat doubt that his grand-uncle (he says NOW) went to Germany or not. If he can "mistake" something like one of the biggest concentration camps for one few have heard of, it would seem to be another one of his ploys.

well, it could very well be that he misheard the story from family members. I know I've done the same mistake. Not saying this is the case for him, but its a possibility.

expanded the government more than any other president
That award goes to old Abe Lincoln and FDR.

    1. an enemy of the United States of America
    2. some one who has such poor judgment that they should be barred from voting
    3. profiting from the crimes that the president has committed against the United States and the world.
1: I'm very patriotic, unlike Mr. Obama.
2: I'm too young to vote, but I'm a lot smarter than half these politicians noadays.
3: Crimes? You mean attacking Iraq and Afganastan? Yeah, letting them attack us more would've helped a lot.

Beside the fact he listens to a preacher that screms "God Damn America", his wife was quoted as saying this was the first time she has been proud of her country, he doesn't wear an American flag pin, he doesn't put his hand over his heart for the pledge, he's a pretty patriotic dude.

    3. No I didn't mean that. I meant the fiscal raping of the nation, which in turn is causing economic disaster globally.
I don't think the War in Iraq is causing an economic disaster worldwide...
