Most Russians (all of the ones I know) absolutely love the franchise and would sooner pay to see the film than ban it.

Btw, the film opened on over 800 screens in Russia, which is the largest of any hollywood movie ever.
Also, Harrison Ford is part Belorussian Jewish.
