    Default Remove Diplomacy

I think we should have no diplomacy for any of the free people's factions, i have seen some complaints about the AI always allying with them and think this should happen. Tell me what you think.

P.S. sorry if this is in the wrong are and/or it has already been asked, i'm a noob.

I removed their diplomats in the RS1.5 patch that Squid is working on....but that won't stop other factions from approaching them. Can't be done.
But if I had my way, a diplomat would cost about 50,000 denarii. I hate the fact they are running all over the map and I think it's very unhistorical.
Hell, most Barbarian tribes\factions didn't even have diplomats. They used axes and swords to 'talk'.

I find it very irritating and patently 'gamey' that you have 6 diplomats from different factions hovering around one of your unimportant cities trying to bribe
it every turn. This never happened....so I think they should cost a bloody fortune.

Well thats a good idea, but the only problem is that other factions are played by people in this mod. I could look into how the diplomatic features can be removed from factions if you want

hmmm i look into it. The rebel factions in Vanilla RTW didn't have it, so maybe we could implomant that into the free people's?

    I sure like that idea.
high cost would be the ticket.
Then maybe the enemy would fight more.
Then again in my campaign as Greece. Rome and mace became friends and are coming after me ! Which is close as historical as you can get.
Would that change anything ? Even a high cost ?

can't we just leave them as they are? this is a comparatively minor thing... perhaps an option on install?

Option on install sounds like a good idea

50,000 denarii sounds about right. Maybe 100,000 will finish it off. But hey lets put it into this pciture. If your city is bribed by whatever faction then GUESS WHAT. You can take it back and show the population what happens when they betray you.

    But hey thats my view.

True, we could have an optional 'diplomats cost arm and leg' install.
