With the release of 6.1 and it not being save game compatible a new campaign must begin. So here it is please select the faction you are playing right now. This poll will open again in two weeks and you will be able to vote again (if you start a new campaign) This way we will have a good idea of what people are playing over a long period of time. OK there are a few poles asking what faction to add or what faction to remove. I say it is time for a pole that we can let everyone know what faction in SS we are enjoying now. Stainless Steel 6.0 has been out 10 whole days, so what faction are you playing as of right now? You can select more than one but i would only select the campaign that is last saved in your saved folder. Once that campaign has ended or you start another, come back and vote again. Hopefully if this thread last a couple of days we can get a pretty good idea of what the most popular factions are. I know the Byz and England will be popular, but I'm curious on just how many people are playing the new factions, muslim factions, or the Golden Horde. Hell if it last longer we can get a good idea of what everyone is playing over a longer period of time. So when you start that new campaign take the time to come back to vote and post, why you chose faction, what era, and what you plan to accomplish.

Right now im playing as Ireland(who'd a thought it).I control all of Great Britain,Iberia and im about to finish off the french(i called a crusade on Toulose which is there last settlement)and then im gonna take over Scandinavia,starting with an already weakened Norway.

Still playing my HRE campaign so I wont vote yet. So busy with other stuff haven't had a cahnec (edit : man i won't delete it, I butchered that word. chance) to play in a while. Maybe after i finish somemore unit cards and a few sig request i will finish off the Danes and continue my quest bringing Europe under one Emporer.

Still working on my early era Byzantine campaign. Almost 200 turns in. Have two "sideshow" games going as the Turks and English, just to keep myself from burning out at the point in which every turn as Byzantium requires so much on so many fronts.

my last campaign was as ireland, i took scotland very quickly and didnt have a lot of trouble taking england after that, then moved on and managed to capture the iberian pen, after that i got bored and started a new campaign as KOJ, not so easy, went well for a while with alliances to turks and egpyt but eventually the kwarez called a crusade on my ass and in no time 3 of my 5 settlements had full stacks seiging them, destroyed all the buildings and im now on my way to take the iberian penninsula with 3 armies by sea, im allied with the moors and already excommunicated so i can attack catholic factions without a worry as a crusade has just ended against antioch (which i took) i got excommunicted for trying to take constantinople off hungary since i already had bad relations with the pope for being allied to so many muslim factions

Your point? That's more than 13 other factions. After this poll I'm sure the ratio will be about the same.

I'm playing as Denmark, Currently I'm pre-occupied with taking sweden, I'm in a neck-to-neck race with norway for the supreme control of the north, but I'm slowly gaining the upperhand.. After Sweden I'm taking on Norway and I'm hoping my alliance with Scotland will pay off, they usually send a stack to Scandinavia anyway so.. After I finish off norway I will send an army to the British Isles and one army south along the coast, taking the netherlands, belgium and the french coast along the way. Then I will launch another inviasion from normandy to take the British Isles once and for all..

Quite a daring plan.. But I still have a very long way to go..

I was playing as Poland before it kept freezing a certain turn (shuoldn't of fiddled with unit scale >.<)

My good old Byzzies, as always. And on Broken Crescent I am playing the Eastern Roman Empire...I have to admit, playing the ERE is TOTALLY different from SS Byzzies...but they are both equally awesome.
