Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
For many months now, since before Don Siegelman got out of jail, the house judiciary committee has been trying to get Karl Rove in to testify. He has been refusing and evading them, even trying to cite executive privilege (which doesnt apply in this case) as a a way to avoid testifying. The House got so fed up they were talking about arresting rove for contempt.
Now he has finally agreed and will have to answer many questions on june 10th about the politicization of our justice system and his role in firing U.s. attorneys and about his alleged role in jailing Alabama democratic governor Don Siegelman simply for being a democrat.
Karma is finally coming around, it's good to see at least one person in the bush administration, responsible for so much corruptness and suffering, might actually get what's coming to him.
thoughts?
