Hi i've got £300-£400 which is about $600-$800 to spend on a new computer and would like you guys to recommend one that can play this game reasonably.

Not to fussed about mouse, moniter or keyboard as i have some already.

What is it with all these "What do you think of this pre built PC" threads? I much prefer the custom variety. The next Helios is going to look predicable at this rate..

    256 MB dedicated graphics
That's code for dedicated rubbish video card, avoid.

indeed. custom built is best (unless ur super rich and can afford an expensive alienware, or voodo system)

ps. for around $600, id say get the cheapest case u can find, a cheap hard drive (or re use 1 u already have), 2gigs ram, an $80 mobo(GA-P35-DS3L), a low end core2duo, but a GOOD video card. maybe the 8800GT or the 9800GT

Damn it, why are we getting flooded so much? Simetrical should be paying us to give advice.

And why do they all have to be in Pounds? (Those are pounds, right?)

If I had to guess I would say it is somthing to do with Empire:TW coming out shortly. Frankly until we know what the game plays like on existing hardware it's hard to know what kind of system your going to need.

To give you some idea of scale £400 is just about the least amount of money you can spend to get a semi decent gaming rig (no monitor or OS) in the UK.
