Default So I was playing Europa Barburum

    And I have an idea...

How about you use the trait system to distinguish the background of characters and make heroes? I discussed this with the Elf Lord but they can apply for anyone and can make the characters diverse and unique without making a ton of models.

    Traits like this:

Noldor - Member of the Nolder Clan of Elves, increased chances of generating military and management traits, increased chance of generating arragonce traits

Sindar - Member of the Sindar Clan of Elves - no bonuses or penalties

Sylvan - Member of the Sylvan Elves who never saw Amam - increased chances of generating fieldcraft traits, decreased chance of gaining knowledge traits

Elf Lord - One of the mighty Elf Lords of old (add bonuses)

Dunedain - Man of the West, descended from the Blood of Numeor - increased chances of generating military and management traits.

Man of the North - Member of one of the bloodlines of Man common to Middle Earth - no bonuses or penalties

    And so on...

Dark Lord of Mordor-Ruler of the Land of Mordor(add bonuses)(maybe for Sauron)

Goblin King-high chief of goblins (give morale on the battlefield)

    Or stuff like for evil:

    Uruk - gives military bonuses
Goblin (representing the smaller varieties of orcs) - gives penalties
Orc (representing the average orc) - Neutral

For Mordor placing evil men in charge if you want:

Black Numerion - Large amounts of bonuses
    Easterling - what you decide
    Southron - what you decide

It makes characters more special and gives them a bit of a background.

Yeah, I really like that idea. You could use it to differentiate between the generals and heroes of different races, and make every character unique. For example, a Rohirrim could get a command bonus when commanding cavalry while a Gondorian would get a command bonus while defending.

    Yes, sounds good to me.

Hobbit: Lose hitpoints, but gain massive morale for all troops around you?

    Game of the Fates
Mod of the week on hold -- I've played nearly every RTW mod out there.
BOYCOTT THE USE OF SMILEYS! (Okay, just once)
Antiochos VII...last true scion of the Seleucid dynasty...rest in peace, son of Hellas.
I've returned--please forgive my long absence.

Dwarf: +2 hitpoints, +2 command when commanding infantry -1 command when commanding cavalry

Longbeard clan(?) +2 bonus to length of beard (=improvement of authority)
