Medieval II Gold Edition

Hey, I just bought Medieval II Gold Edition and I just have one simple question.

I plan to install Medieval II Total War and right after install the expansion-Kingdoms.

So, after I install the Medieval II Kingdoms what is the latest patch I should download? I'm guessing 1.2 and 1.3 that I can download in Medieval II Total War section isn't necessary?

If so, the thread that's been stickied in this section "Kingdoms update release" should be the only one I should download?

Also, can someone tell me how to install the patch? Do I have to install it in a certain folder or anything?

The only patch you have to install is kingdoms 1.05, it comes with an installer so everything is pretty automatic.
