Re: Need help
How exactly do you know that it won't install the patch? Does it say something? Did you install in the medieval II directory and not any other one?
More info could help people help you.

Re: Need help
Ive installed it all correctly , The problem im having is when running Stainless Steel The loading splash screen is still displaying a big 6.0 so im guessing its still version 6.0.
I am using the Steam version btw and i dont use the SS launcher on desktop i load kindgoms then choose SS from the submenu when you click play.

Re: Need help
Perhaps it's an registry issue?
I remember the discussions about SS with steam, which usually concluded in adding an entry in the registry.
Search the forums for "steam" as topic titles in the SS forum, there are a lot of them.

Re: Need help
Ok ive also tried Extracting the patch files to desktop and installing them manually to make 100% there going to the correct place.
My game is still running 6.0
BLEH!!!!
Is 6.1 alot better/balanced than 6.0 if the changes arent too big i guess ill just stick with 6.0 as i give up.
